Google Announced New Gmail Video Chat Enhancements
Google recently announced a new and better Video Chat feature in Gmail. The new Google Gmail video chat enhancements can be enabled by doing the following steps: Open your Gmail account. Click on the Labs Tab and scroll down until you see the “Video Chat Enhancements” features there. Finally Click on the Enable radio button and hit Save Changes.
With the upgraded Video Chat in Gmail, this new video chat enhancements really really makes me want to video chat more often. Before the launch of this feature, video chats (even in Gtalk) are sometimes sluggish. The resolution of videos back then was grainy. But when we tried the new Gmail video chat a few hours ago, we said “WOW!” Totally impressive.
The video resolution seemed clearer than before and audio quality of voice was equally good. That says it all. Nice one, Google Team! After giving us the Gmail Priority Inbox and Google Instant Search, you’ve done it again. Btw, check out another cool feature in Google Mail, which is Gmail’s PC to Phone Call Feature. Learn from that article how can you make calls for free in the US and Canada. Some limitations apply of course.
