Kik Messenger for Blackberry Bold 9700 and Other BB Phone Models Non-Existent

Since we purchased our white Blackberry Bold 9700 (Bold 2), we have wanted to install Kik Messenger. Unfortunately, the Kik Messenger for Blackberry phones is not available. You can check the Blackberry App World using your handset to confirm this.

We even sent an email to the creators of this free app reminiscent of Blackberry Messenger but we did not receive an official reply. Instead we stumbled on their announcement that the free Kik Messenger app is not available on the Blackberry App World yet due to server load issues.

But this issue has taken months to resolve and from the looks of it, Kik will never make to the Blackberry App World, unlike its rival Pingchat Instant Messenger.

At the moment, you can download Kik Instant Messenger onto your iPhone 4/3GS, iPod Touch, iPad Tablet and Android phones such as Samsung Epic 4G.
